Terms of Service

The plain-English rules for using heyolive — no legalese, just what you need to know.

Last updated: July 2026

The short version

heyolive builds and hosts a website for your business. You pay a monthly fee, you can cancel anytime, and your content is always yours. Here's the detail behind that.

What you're paying for

  • Your first site is $99/month, with everything included — hosting, your domain, unlimited edits, forms, and more.
  • Each additional site is $79/month.
  • Everything listed on the pricing page is part of the price. No surprise add-on fees.

Your free trial

New accounts get a 7-day free trial covering one site. Build it, try it, show it to people. A card is required to start the trial, but you won't be charged anything during those 7 days. We'll email you a reminder before the trial ends. If you don't cancel, your card is automatically charged $99/month and your paid subscription begins. You can cancel anytime in one click, with no charge, right up until the trial ends.

Canceling

You can cancel anytime from your account. When you cancel, your site stays live through the end of the billing period you already paid for — we don't do partial-month refunds for canceling early.

After that, we don't delete your site right away. It's paused, not erased — we keep it for at least 30 days in case you change your mind or want to grab your content. After that window, inactive sites may eventually be removed.

Your content is yours

The words, photos, and business info you put into your site belong to you. You can export your content at any time, and you can take your domain with you if you leave.

Hosting & acceptable use

heyolive hosts your site on our infrastructure. We may suspend or take down a site that contains illegal content, or that we reasonably believe puts other customers or heyolive at risk. We'll always try to reach out first if that ever happens.

No guarantees, but we've got your back

heyolive is provided as-is. We work hard to keep things fast and reliable, but we can't promise the service will be perfect or error-free every single day. If something's actually broken on our end, tell us and we'll fix it.

Refunds

How billing works

Your first 7 days are free — cancel anytime before the trial ends and you're never charged. After that, monthly fees are non-refundable, except where required by law. You can cancel anytime, and you'll keep access through the period you already paid for.

Who can use heyolive

heyolive is a tool for businesses, and you must be at least 18 years old to use it. By signing up, you're telling us you're an adult using heyolive for a real business, and that you have the authority to agree to these terms on that business's behalf.

Your content, and the promises you make about it

Your site content is yours (see above) — and along with that ownership comes responsibility. When you put content on your site, you're promising us that you have the right to use it, that it's accurate, and that it doesn't break the law or infringe anyone else's rights. If someone brings a claim against heyolive because of the content on your site or how you used the service, you agree to cover us for that claim and the reasonable costs that come with it. In plain terms: you own your content, so you stand behind it.

About the AI

Olive uses AI to help write and build your site. AI is a powerful helper, but it isn't perfect — it can occasionally get a fact, a detail, or a piece of wording wrong. You're responsible for reviewing your site and making sure everything on it is accurate before and while it's live — your prices, your services, your hours, your claims, all of it. Think of Olive as a fast, capable assistant whose work you always get the final say on. heyolive isn't responsible for content you publish, even when Olive helped create it.

Service "as-is" and no warranties

We work hard to keep heyolive fast, reliable, and useful, and we genuinely want your site to help your business. But the service is provided "as-is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether spoken or implied. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular business result — like a specific number of visitors, leads, or sales. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Uptime

We aim to keep heyolive and the sites we host online and available around the clock, and we rely on strong infrastructure to do it. That said, no online service is up 100% of the time — there will occasionally be maintenance, updates, or outages, some outside our control. We don't guarantee a specific uptime percentage. If something's broken on our end, tell us and we'll work to fix it.

Limitation of liability

Nobody wants things to go wrong — but if they do, here's the limit on what heyolive is on the hook for. To the fullest extent allowed by law, heyolive (and The Site For Sites) won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — things like lost profits, lost business, lost data, or missed opportunities — arising from your use of the service. And our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the three months before the claim came up. Some places don't allow certain limits, so parts of this may not apply to you; where that's the case, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.

The law that applies, and settling disagreements

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We'd always rather work things out directly — so before anyone files anything, please email us and give us a real chance to make it right; most issues get solved with a simple conversation.

If we truly can't resolve it, any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, and you agree to that location. Nothing here stops either of us from bringing a matter in small-claims court if it qualifies — that's often the fastest, friendliest, and least expensive way to sort out a smaller dispute, and we're fine with that route.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as heyolive grows or as the law changes. If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top and, where it matters, let you know. Continuing to use heyolive after a change means you accept the updated terms.
