The short version
Use heyolive to build a real, honest website for a legitimate business. Don't use it for anything illegal, deceptive, harmful, or that puts other customers or heyolive at risk. If you do, we can take the site down.
What you may not do
You may not use heyolive — or a site we host for you — to create, host, or distribute anything that:
- Breaks the law. Anything illegal under the laws that apply to you or to us.
- Deceives people. Scams, phishing, fake storefronts, fraudulent offers, get-rich-quick schemes, fake giveaways, or impersonating a business or person you aren't.
- Makes false or misleading claims. Fake reviews, invented credentials, counterfeit goods, or claims about your products or services you can't back up.
- Infringes someone else's rights. Copyrighted text, images, logos, or content you don't have the right to use; trademarks that aren't yours; or anyone's private information used without permission.
- Sends spam or does bulk unsolicited outreach. Using a heyolive site or its forms to harvest addresses or run spam operations.
- Harms or harasses people. Content that harasses, threatens, defames, or incites violence against anyone, or that promotes hate against a protected group.
- Exploits or endangers minors. Any content that sexualizes or endangers children. Zero tolerance — this is reported, not just removed.
- Distributes malware or attacks systems. Viruses, malicious code, or anything designed to break into, overload, or disrupt other systems.
- Covers regulated or high-risk categories we don't support. This includes (but isn't limited to) illegal drugs, weapons/firearms sales, adult/sexual content, gambling, and other categories that create outsized legal or platform risk.
- Abuses the platform itself. Trying to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or resell heyolive's infrastructure, or reselling hosting to third parties without our agreement.
You're responsible for your content
Everything on your site — the words, images, offers, and any content Olive helped you write — is your responsibility. That includes making sure it's accurate, that you have the rights to use it, and that it follows the rules above and any laws that apply to your business.
How we enforce this
If a site crosses these lines, or we reasonably believe it puts other customers or heyolive at risk, we may:
- Ask you to fix or remove the content.
- Temporarily suspend the site.
- Take the site down or close the account.
Whenever it's reasonable and safe to do so, we'll reach out first and give you a chance to fix it. For serious cases — anything illegal or harmful, especially anything involving minors — we may act immediately and, where the law requires, report it to the authorities.
